la vida es una tombola

I'm in my 20s and live in Austin, TX. Ask me anything.

Last week I went to a restaurant in Houston, and was feeling like ordering a burger, when the owner told us that the burgers weren’t really all that. He recommended the sliders instead. And when the owner tells you not to buy his product, its hard not to trust that opinion.

Over the summer, I wanted to see “Cowboys & Aliens,” but missed it in the theaters. I like westerns, Sam Rockwell, Olivia Wilde and Harrison Ford, so even though it wasn’t well reviewed, I was still planning on watching it eventually. And how is the head of Universal Studios selling the film?

“Cowboys & Aliens wasn’t good enough. Forget all the smart people involved in it, it wasn’t good enough. All those little creatures bouncing around were crappy. I think it was a mediocre movie, and we all did a mediocre job with it… It happens. “

I should appreciate everyone for their candor, but still bums me out.

Oh, and the sliders were pretty low par too.
