I was on a commercial for the last 8 days, and among my many duties was driving around the director, producers, DP, client, agency, etc. I can’t very do that in my little fit, so I drove a Ford Expedition around the whole week. (I felt guilty driving such a behemoth, and would repeatedly tell people it was a rental. I did get way better at parking it after the first few days though.)
Anyway, I start with this because it explains why I didn’t know 107.7 HITZ FM (Pop y Rock en español y mas) changed its format to 107.7 La Jefa (Regional Mexican) until a week after it happened.
Now I’m totally bummed. Yes, I realize Digital 92.5 still exists, but that’s Univision’s competition and now I won’t be indirectly paying my sister’s salary by listening to ads.
So, HITZ, I dedicate this song to you. Oh, and clearly the Marco Antonio Solis original is waaaaaay superior to this one, but I thought I’d keep it appropriate to the old format.
